Hi, RJ Baxter here. I wanted to share with you guys this week. A free resource is available to everybody, to all consumers called annualcreditreport.com. This is the free site where you can check what's on your credit history and monitor what's on there, because the federal government, they mandate that consumers should have access to their credit. So I'm showing the website right here so you can go there. Just annualcreditreport.com is the site. And this is different than other third party sites like Credit karma, myfico, sites like that, because those sites charge something in order to see your credit history. Now, I should say this annual credit report, in order to see a credit score, you do have to pay for it. But at least this is a resource that's free to all consumers so you can see what's on your credit. 

And this is especially helpful if you're monitoring certain credit lines, like if you're looking to see if you have a late payment on a particular card, or if you're looking to see if there's anyone that maybe got into your accounts or into your credit rather, or into your social, like identity theft to see if there's anything on there that you don't know about, there's a lot of ways that you can utilize this site to monitor things on your credit and to help you out. So I hope that helps you out. Annualcreditreport.com. Now, if you're looking to get pre approved for a mortgage, one thing to note is that there's different credit models out there. So when you look at a credit score on a site like annual credit report or on my FICO or credit karma, those are consumer credit models.
