Good morning, I'm RJ Baxter, your out of the box lender with your Saturday strategy. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. It's hard to believe that we're that close to November already. So because of that reason I wanted to share with you a strategy right now so that you can be prepared for Thanksgiving. Because if you're going to do anything that's a little bit involved you got to be prepared leading up to it. So it's not a last minute scramble. This is one of my favorite Thanksgiving strategies and I've talked to quite a few agents that have used this to drum up business on a yearly basis. It's simply the pie delivery strategy. So you simply get a bunch of pumpkin or apple pies. You reach out to all your past clients, you say hey I'm giving away pies for Thanksgiving. 

What's a good day for me to stop by and do you prefer apple or pumpkin? And that has a couple of benefits of doing it that way. First of all you have them committing to a time. If you have them choose which type of pie they want then they feel committed because you got that particular pie for them. So they're not going to just conveniently not be home and no show. And then when you go to their house to deliver the pie it's just natural that real estate conversations ensue. Of course you just kind of catch up, ask them how the house is, whatever friends or family, recreation, occupation goals, frog and inevitably real estate conversations come up if that's something that's on their mind.
