In this week's Tip Of The Week, I'm going to talk about something I've found can be extremely confusing as a home buyer.

Sometimes, there are builders and Realtors that will say "If you use our lender, the lender will give you a discount.".

When these situations arise, we actually match the preferred lender's offer (speaking honestly, it's not always a good deal at all -- sometimes I've actually found it's a worse deal...). That said, if it's better, we match it**.

**There are very few instances this isn't the case -- but I assume my attorney's would prefer I keep that statement in place, just to avoid any concerns in the future.

But, bottom line, over the years our company has supported us in matching deals like this because we don't want to lose our clients!
